Furniture Required

We are collecting furniture, though we apologise that there will be several weeks delay before we can come out to you as we are extremely busy.  

We are specifically in need of bunkbeds, chest of drawers, wardrobes,

beds and mattresses (which are stain free and in good condition). 

Please ensure that all items are in a good, clean, reusable condition.

Due to overstock we are currently not accepting  the following items:
wall units, tv stands, bedside cabinets, shelves, desks, sofas

Furniture Collection

  • Beds and mattresses (must be clean i.e. no stains.) Particularly in need of bunkbeds.
  • Chest of drawers
  • Wardrobes
  • Suites/sofabeds (must comply with 1988 fire regulations and have no broken springs, holes, rips or burns.)
  • Stair gates and high chairs*
  • Desks (home use only)
  • Cots and cot beds
  • Large rugs*

This isn’t a full list – if you have items you’d like to donate that aren’t mentioned please give us a ring!  

Did you know we can also collect these items along with furniture?*

Please ensure that all items are in a reusable or sellable state: not broken, torn or stained.  Thank you.

  • Bedding
  • Clothes Airers
  • Crockery – sets of 2 at least
  • Cutlery – sets of 4 at least
  • Pots and pans
  • Kitchen utensils
  • Household bins
  • Ironing boards
  • Laundry baskets
  • Rugs
  • Light shades

We can also accept clothing, books, baby items and toys that are boxed or bagged up and ready for us to take.

*Please note that we only collect these items along with other larger items.  If you only have smaller items to donate, you are welcome to drop them off at our warehouse. For further information click here.

Items we do not collect

  • Carpets
  • Cookers
  • Kitchen units
  • Electric beds
  • Children’s car seats
  • Any electrical item which does not work or is over 10 years old
  • Large wall units
  • Cd racks
  • Tapes, videos
  • Anything incomplete, stained or damaged

We reserve the right to refuse any item that we believe to be unsuitable for re-use or if we have an excess of that item in stock.
