Lands End to John O’Groats Bike Challenge
This year we are celebrating 25 years of being able to help individuals and families in our town who are going through periods of crisis in their lives or who are living on low income. As part of the celebrations, Steve, our General Manager, has committed to cycling the length of the UK (from Land’s End to John O’ Groats), approximately 1000 miles, in order to raise funds for this vital work.
He plans to start on 29 April and complete it by 11 May 2024. Our goal is to raise £10,000. This money will allow us to continue serving the needs of the residents in Northampton. You can find more information here: LEJOG A4 Flyer and use it to spread the word.
We are looking for sponsors who would be willing to help us reach our goal. A donation of just 2 pence per mile (£20) would cover the cost of diesel in our van collecting and delivering items for 1 day. A donation of 3 pence per mile (£30) would cover the cost of washing powder to launder bed linen for up to 1 month. A donation of 5 pence per mile (£50) would allow us to purchase the detergent needed to valet sofas and rugs for 6 months.
